BEWARE : Ebay Scam -MS440 FAKE !!!!

Just like to warn you folks on here that some low life on ebay has a £500 Buy It Now listing for a saw which he claims is a NEW ms440. I emailed him last night for photo proof cos i thought somethings a bit fishy here because he only put a small picture with the listing and it looked to me like a picture from a stihl catalogue. Anyway, he's now added some photo's to the listing. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK i think the listing ends tomorrow 30th-May

You're right mate- if thats a new ms440 for the uk market im a dutchman. I pointed it out to him and suggested he may want to remove the listing or be a bit more honest, ot i could report him to ebay!! Haha.

Doesn't it make ya wonder ay ? Check out his feedback score, 100% positive, "top ebayer blahblahblah" Oh i bet he had no idea its a fake, no no no. Will all have been done in total innocence

He posted one pic of a genuine 440 from catalogue (i agree with you stig of the dump61) and then a load of pics of a saw that was totally different. Bar not written both sides, casing wrong shape, bar cover not stihl, labels in the wrong place and non genuine blah blah!! Well spotted stig!

Try this, go onto ebay and type this number in the search box 330332787708 and press search. I tried it and it came up, but only type the number in, do not add any words with it.

Just done it. It still comes up...this is the message i sent him:Hello mate. Where did you get that saw, as it is NOT a new uk spec ms440. It looks both old, and totaly different from the current range. Do you want to remove/ change the listing, or is it necessary to report to ebay?? Selling non uk saws in the uk is illegal BTW, and that definitely isnt one, i'm not even sure it is a genuine stihl. Your call.

 

He has obviously got some front. Tosser.
