Binderberger logging saw

Looking to purchase a new cradle type logging saw, pto driven model and looking for some advice on the binderberger WS700Z or would someone recommend another make, I don't need an elevator model

Thanks for that hiluxstil rob rainford whos on this forum has recently purchased a Major saw bench, he said I could go and have a look at his one working, cheers

yes they are good my neighbour has got one they cut well good working height an easy to lift and move around and store safely , far out of theives way

 

i will be getting this model in very soon dolmar CS7000Z VERY SIMILAR TO THE BINDERBERGER

great tool, the extending arm is a bit of a gimmick but I dont regret buying the saw for a second it was an ex show model so grubby and few premature paint wear spots but I gotit for E1000

Thanks shavey for that info, just had a look for the dolmar on ebay and can't find that particular model whos the dealer for dolmar ? They look quite robust

i will be getting one soon and if it performs well ,its reliable and the figures are right i will sell be selling them in the future

Nice to see the gearbox direct drive, also leaves the PTO stub a better height for modern high HP tractors. Is it not a bit high for older smaller tractors though?

I presume the supplied PTO shaft has a slip clutch built in btw?

The Krpan I bought has the PTO stub FAR too low, even for older tractors.
