We have both. As a direct comparison we have a new ifor ramp back 10 x5 and the equivalent dale Kane. I have to say the new ifor is better than the last one but it's still not as strong or well thought out as the dale Kane one. The dk trailer has a longer, stronger and better sprung assisted tail door. The floor is twice as thick and draw bar is slightly longer which seems to make it easier to tow and reverse better. There is heavier steel running thru it and the side panels are heavier gauge.

do ya know the unladen weight of the 2 trailers so we can get an idea on how much heavier the DK one is over the Ifor ?

I know the ifor is 585 kg on their spec sheet, we've never had to weigh in the dale trailer as it's only used for a specific machine that only weighs 700 kg so never near its payload to worry about overloading. A call to Dale would answer it for sure.

Hi,

I bought a Dale Kane tipper 10 x 5' 6. Its a really good well built trailer, I got the mesh sides on it as well, I'm very happy with it, if anything it might be a bit heavy , suppose you can't have it every way.

Thanks
