Hi new to this forum and climbing and would like to know if anyone could confirm the difference between these two harnesses?

Couldn't find a definitive answer, is it just the part in the back for body harness and the quick release clips that are different?

Any info would be great.

The SRT does not have a front buckle, but has attachment points for a chest harness (shoulder straps).

See SEQUOIA: Line of seat harnesses for tree care | Petzl for details.

Be aware that the Sequoia has been updated in the 2014 model with improved buckles and other modifications. Make sure you get this version when ordering

Looking at 2nd hand harness so won't have the luxury of the newer model. If I'm not planning on using a full body harness do you think the standard sequora would suffice? Cheers

the SRT without the chest harness IMO will fall off your arse even with a 201 so he standard will be better :)

If you are young and just starting out in your career can I suggest you do a search locally for charitable trusts. We have one in our village set up in memory of some local person. They give money (not a loan but free money) to young people within the area, in our case £250, the money has to be used to but tools, equipment, books, or pay for training.

Well worth asking at the local library if they have any details.
