Hi all, having some trouble with my brushcutter, it overheated now won't start, Husky dealer reckons it need an engine strip, new piston etc. As the machine is 5 years old I'm loathed to pay dealer prices, I'm looking for someone knowledgable to do the work, any suggestions?? I'm based Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border. Thanks in advance.

I had a 345RX and it lasted a good few years . Mine did the same as yours whilst using a mulching blade . I think crank seals had gone causing it to run lean and nip up . It was deemed an uneconomical repair so bought a 545 RX . .......
