It's quoted earlier in this thread Gary as 1960 and in Mynors (without the date) ¾ of the way down p67 2nd ed. But I can't find it on Google, only links to people quoting it (this thread and some random "Garden Law" forum.

Has anyone got a link to Richardson v Jay? I can't seem to find anything....

 

Mynors quotes (page xlii) "EG9" .....from which I assume you will need access to the Estates Gazette probably the 1960 volume....that's probably the only record of the case that there is. It may be available on line if you have a sub.
