Training too be a surveyor

Hi all, I've been a tree surgeon for the last 12 years and have all my chainsaw licenses and a good general knowledge on trees, but I've always fancied been a surveyor does any1 have any advice abought training etc that I could do that wouldn't interfere too much with my general workday ie short courses or online based courses?? Cheers

Industry standard is LANTRA PTI. Did mine with TreeLife.

Having this has got me work that I otherwise wouldn't have got.

For instance Transport for London insisted on their surveyors being PTI qualified.

Maybe have a chat with treelife and they will advise if you have the requisite knowledge or if you should do basic tree inspection first....
