Well I've had a lovely day today, totally ivy covered Ash tree removal. Started at 11.30 finished at 5 and we're half way through taking out the crown. It's about 80 yrs I recon so a fair bit on it.. Everything to be rigged so it's pretty awkward!

Anyone done anything like and struggled like I have been, funny stories welcome :-)

Maybe to get the job done in this case but what stresses will the roots be exposed to?

It is always worth considering all things, not just the practicality of YOUR needs at the time

Not stressed them much at all, it was only a safety precaution because of the houses behind. Belt n braces and all that, the Laburnum was a very substantial tree.
