Unfortunately, Salmond isn't the only politician who has stage-managed photo opportunities. We are paying for hundreds of 'political assistants' whose sole purpose in life is to show off their political paymasters in the best light possible in order to gain votes. Nothing new here I'm afraid

 

In this case its not a case of him being seen in the "best light possible" its more about what he see's as being the "best light", thats very telling.

I'd like a politician to explain how a political party helps democracy?

 

We'd have non of these clowns in power if we had 600 indpendent mp's electing the best of the 600 as cabinet ministers

 

Nor would we have killed 100,000 iraqis for no purpose, and Cyril Smith etc would have gone to jail
