does anyone know if the side starter housing is available whole unit or part?

and also in the need of two clutch springs, seems mine are loosing the will to hold on to 137cc

going to phone the dealer 2mrw see what that got to say.

Starter is still available as a whole unit. You will need to check whether you have the aluminium or the nylon starter cup though as the starter for the latter is different and nla - you can't just swap them over as they take different flywheels too.

 

Not sure on the clutch springs - let me know if you get anywhere as I haven't sorted one yet for mine.

Yes both parts are still available, I priced them up when I rebuilt mine, bloody expensive! The FM starter is the only one recognised for the 090 anyway

Whole unit 1106 080 2810 £77 plus the vat.

 

You can get just the housing if that's all you need, £38 + vat.

 

The good news is your clutch springs 0000 997 5616 are only £1.32 ea + vat.

I like the price for springs

 

When I bought a significant number of bits, I found it cheaper to buy them from Germany - there's a seller on ebay.de who is also a dealer and will obtain and supply parts. Postage is reasonable but you have to need enough at once to make it worthwhile.
