Thought I`d post this picture I took today. Early on this year the I noticed the bird had been making the hole a little bigger but the silly thing made it too big and a gust of wind snapped it in half but today Ive been back and i heard the chicks.... they were making a right old racket so i thought i would hide in the undergrowth and was rewarded with these.

i think it was a little bit knackerd but it still had good leaf on it, thing is it broke right at the point where it had put a bloody big chamber leaving around an inch all around holding up 40ft of alder.
