Advice please - another defender tipper!

Hi all,

 

First post here so hello to everyone!

 

Anyway bringing up what seems to be the age old problem of defender tippers!

 

I have just taken delivery of my brand new defender 130 chassis cab, its turned up a lot quicker than expected and so I am a bit slow on the choice of body builder for the tipper conversion, anyway, I have a quote from KMR which although they look very good is nearly 5k + VAT for ally dropside, cage removable sides and tool box at front with door either end (within tipper body not seperate) I asked GM Billings in Loughton and they use a KMR subframe so are more money! Also asked TipMaster and they were also more expensive!

 

So I know someone else asked this but didn't seem to get a response, anyone used these guys:

Phoned them up 2100 + VAT for the same as what Ive asked elsewhere but just wanted comments on there work if possible

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

5 k for a small tipper body is madness 2100 + is more realistic, pop down there there workshop & have a look at there work,

 

There was a place on Mobec Farm A127 nr A130 juc that done lovely body's all the travlers got there tippers custom made there

Is there not a fabricater/farm mechanic work shop near you there always very competitive on price
