Big Walnut felled last week in Cheltenham,

Client has asked me to put pictures on here as he is looking to sell it, he feels its a shame to burn it on his fire!!

Anyone interested let me know and I'll pass youur details on.

eye, she shy on heartwood, is all the rest sapwood that is alive or does it die off and take a long time to darken to the sought after heartwood? a bit off topic from original post, just wondered

It's not worth anything but it's still worth milling...

 

 

But it would be a case of free rather than being able to get anything for it.

I'll leave negoitiations down to the client, I've told him he may struggle due to the small amount of heartwood but still got to be better turned into something other than logs, he has plenty of branchwood for logs!
