Whats doing this to me Laurel

Noticed in the last few weeks something is making holes in the leaves which are then going yellow and falling off. most of the new growth is also eaten! started off with just the end one but now it seems to be spreading from plant to plant

I don't know, I thought Laurel was more Hardy than anything

There's also remedies in the lower section. Whatever it turns out to be, I'd remove affected leaves & twigs and burn them. I wouldn't put them in with compost or leave at the foot of the shrub.
