Hi a bit off thread (sorry) but I have noticed the chain stretch that Rob mentioned I have a 4ft hard nosed sthil bar and when milling I am always adjusting the chain and when I got the saw new i was told it only came with a hard nose bar why would they even make a bar that long without a sprocket nose ,must get one from rob soon

Cheers Mark

I notice many millers buy the saw but never use the stock 'no sprocket nose' bar. Instead, they sell the supplied bar for £280+ and buy a sprocket nose Sugi Hara for around £220. Make some money and get a better milling bar - have your cake and eating it.
