cummins make a 18hp engine the smallest they do so would fit a compact or a 360. have to ask what do they go in. the plot thickens. perkins still making engines for all groups but on a larger scale.

firm making engines for the indy car series.

so we could make a chainsaw be interesting to see a full uk chainsaw. well apart from bar and chain

but there engines are made in japan are they not ???

 

And what diesel British engine would you fit over the pretty much industry standard Kubota diesel lump.

 

Fit another lesser known brand and straight away you loose sales because of the spec on paper.

I came out of university with engineering degree in 1983

I had been top of my course at a good university for three years

But Thatcher government was smashing up british industry with a big hammer

Every night on news 500 engineering jobs gone here, 400 there

No chance of a job in engineering

 

Wonder what happened to all The malaysians I was at uni with ?

 

Bottom line I should have emigrated.....
