if you look on the chainsaw photo thread i have just refreshed it for you if you follow the pages you will see the photos

the 7910 is very lively power to weight ratio is best in its class

the 9010 is a well made strong as a bull saw not as lively but full of torque but a little stimulation and its getting hotter :thumbup:

plus its old school straight forward tuning no cat in the exhaust no decomp and no primer button plus its tough enough to bang your wedges in if you lose your axe

what ye tink of the Dolmar PS 6100 then ? The ting is i may be in the market ferra new saw but the Husky 550/560's seem a bit 'hit and miss' as does the Stihl 362. I wonder if this Dolmar is a professional saw with no electronics/auto tune to go wrong ? The only ting that concerns me is dealer backup in the UK regarding problems/spares etc. Tanks, Ken.

In an email Makita UK told me they would honour the warranty on any European Dolmar as long as there was a UK equivalent Makita model and they could get the parts. But never tested it so no idea if its true!
