gm safe track system vs tw tracked

I know, I know not another GM Vs TW type thread.

 

but......

 

It may be that my arm is twisted to go over to a timberwolf tracked machine, this isnt the end of the world, our road tow is a tw and I have no problem with that - my only concern is how much I will miss the safetrack feature.

 

how much of a difference does it make to its usability.

 

Am I/ the guys going to roll the tw at the slightest side slope?

I used to use the 1623(?) safetrac, then a 190 fixed track timberwolf, the safe trac system was ace for the ground conditions here (lots of surface rocks) and it winded its way up and down slopes the tw would have needed winching up/down

What's your reasons for wanting a TW tracked? is it cheap?

I like the greenmechs safe track system but I'm not sure if we can rely on the support if we need it.

The Safetrak is by far the best Vari Track Woodchipper on the market today, as Pete has said Cambrian would be able to support you, further to this Orange Plant are always there to support you as well, we have 7 Depots across the UK
