I have a customer that requires 30m of stock fencing. No barb on top but two runs of single wire. My question is what would you charge a meter? There is poor access so the posts would be going in by hand.

I never let the client get the materials. They either forget something crucial or get something weird that takes way longer. Either way the job takes longer with all the faffing about and then you either loose out or have to renegotiate price.

I'll happily order the materials from their supplier on their account but if I'm doing the job, I order the materials.

yes as above, been caught out when customer orders wrong/crap materials, roll of stock is £50 ish, posts £4 ish,if it needs to be strained then you will need 2 strainers and 2 struts(grandma and egg sucking) plus wire and staples, plus days labour for 1 man, id be needing £350 for the job, hope this helps, mike

The ground is good, I've given them a list and they have told me what prices that can get it all for. I've still got too pick it all up, so I can double check so should all be good.

I'm relatively new to trees but I started in landscaping and that's still my main area of work.
