rope guide hands down, both the other climbers in my company use the pulleysaver, and they do tend to get stuck more, plus with a rope guide you can throw it over above you, set it up, and then just pull on the tail end to tighten it all up, hope that makes sense , watch this video, also the new pulleysavers use the smaller pinto pulley, not even a scratch on the cacoon, also the solid ring is a lot better for retrieval, if you use spiderjack or lockjack, i can't see why anyone wouldn't want one to be honest, there designed to work together.
