speak to a pest control guy or someone with a good air rifle with silencer can take them out from 80 yards. as for a electric fencer. if birds go on it it will zap them dead which you do not want to do.

 

your quite rite i tried a trap and did get one in there but could,nt bring myself to kill it etc also the blackbirds kept getting caught in it but have learned that i need to make a tunnel to the trap hopfully stopping the blackbirds getting trapped etc its just the killing bit i,am not keen on doing even though i have a air rifle i spend time just looking at the birds through the sights i know i,am a sad o
