vermeer sc252

just bought a secondhand sc252 and have to go and collect it.

I need to fit it inside my van or on my trailer but both are short!

Looking at the pics it seems that the 'steering' wheel and draw bar can be removed, is this the case? If it can then what would the overall length be?

Would be really grateful if a kind soul would measure theirs for me.

Using a Dosko at present and have a purpose made trailer for it so will do the same for the Vermeer, copy the factory trailer.

Unless someone has one of these trailers they are happy to part with?

cheers

My trailer is 78,5" long (2 meters).

The trick is, to let the cutter wheel hang over the back or the front of the trailer, worked well for me.

Be aware, the 252 puts much weight on the side where the cutter wheel is, so it is a good idea to prefer the driving direction for the cutter wheel.

btw: Still looking for dual wheels, will pay well if anyone wants to part with em.

regards
