As you are aware, my 2000 Entec was stolen a while back by some scum bags and im now on the look out for a replacement.

Seen 2 that were of interest, but im pretty sure both were scam adverts. When i asked the first guy ? for a contact number, he replied, " I dont have a phone at the moment but how much are you offering " Yeah right !

It appears to be a minefield / bloody nightmare out there re secondhand chippers.

Go too a dealer then, pay a bit more but get piece of mind and a bit of warranty.

Walk away from anything that doesn't comply with HSE, is cheap or you cannot get some history on. Another will come along....

Always get the serial number, always get the history, always check it out with someone who has a mechanical bent!

I still see machines on auction websites that do not have a correct set of safety bars or infeed chute length!
