Excuse my ignorance, but can anyone tell me how would i attach a petzl swivel between my permanent ring on my harness and karb? :confused1:

Not tried one myself yet, but I think the best way would be to add the swivel to the bridge of your harness is poss. You could keep the ring on for other attachments.

I have mine attatched to the bridge on my treemotion. If it is a sliding D on your harness then depending on the harness you can replace the webbing bridge with rope. I used to have a butterfly and i just tied some 10mm climbing line onto the rings. It worked well for me, but not 100% sure if it would pass an inspection. Leave long tails on your fishermans.

you can get bridges and the d's for a butterfly/dragonfly from buxton's of cannock and the will fit most harnesses that have the bridging type of attachment or just use a mailon
