Depends on what yours goals are.You could start as a groundy but you might have to do your cs38 then go on to cs39 the list goes on.All the best and enjoy.

30 and 31 will get you going. But the 38 will make you desirable to a one climber and one groundie team.

Chipper tickets and CSCS tickets will also make you desirable, maybe the PTS for railway work if you so wanted.

Forget chainsaw tickets, if you don't have it get yourself a driving licence and a licence to tow something bigger than a wheelbarrow.

That will make you much more employable, do the tickets when you are earning, the right company will help you with that.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
