560 xp problem.

Hi all, recently purchased a brand new husky 560xp, and from the word go its been to coin a phrase-problematic. In its defence when it runs its tremendous and can cut great. The problem is it is a temperamental starter, will stop repeatedly on tick over as well as when releasing the trigger(revs dropping off). I wanted it for cutting bigger limbs and while blocking down but I dare not take it up a tree in case it conks out on me.I believe it is one of the new "computer" models with a chip etc but I cant be sure. Also the fuel mix is spot on and fresh-advice please... Nick Pearson.

Take it back to your dealer get the chip reset then get them to replace any of the recall parts on it. Once back remove spark arrestor and should be Ok. We run 5 of them and have no problems with any.

Exactly what he said above . Also set the auto tune as per the book which is basically cut wood continuously for a few mins preferably the whole length of the bar .

There has been a number of recalls, carbs chips starter pulleys and oil tank gasket depending on age. Ask the dealer when you take it in.
