I've got a smart Tv, its in the boys playroom.

I've started using it for utube to save my neck from the Ipad.

How do you get on the forum with it?

I launched the instructions obviously

I just went on the apps button and loaded internet. Then tapped in arb talk adress.

 

Log in and away you go. Makes viewing the youtube vids on here much more enjoyable.

 

Been playing with it tonight. Just pushing buttons.

 

Oh and you havnt lived until you have played call of duty on ps3 in 3d.

Do you type with your phone?

I couldn't be bothered using the arrows to do each letter with the TV doodler.

Get the app on the phone or the iPad. You can do it all on that. But it takes a few seconds to appear on the telly.

 

I really love it. Everyone should have one.

It's easy, I'm a dab hand at it. That sentence took me 1.8 seconds to write.

Not yet. Was playing around last night. It's the whole click and drag that can't be done. To be honest I havnt even looked to see if a mouse and keyboard can be linked up yet.

We got a LG smart telly a while back and there's a magic remote (their name for it) with a pointer you can use like a mouse. It was an extra £30 but it makes inputs a lot easier when you have to put passwords and names in, we did try a keyboard and mouse but it was a bit hit and miss. Youtube and iPlayer are good and you can get 4OD and the other replays on the internet bit so there's usually something to watch when BB and reality is on. It won't talk to my Samsung phone on android though.
