Thanks for all the info guys-I shall pass it on. Much appreciated.

I once canoed from a little Spey tributary above Aviemore down river to the sea, camping on islands in the river, two fantastic days. The scenery up there is spectacular!

Any body going to Avimore has to visit the Cairngorm Reindeer herd. There is a visitor center in the left hand side of the road heading up to the ski center and at 11am every day there ids a hill visit that you can join to go out onto the huge enclosure up near the ski center and meet and feed the deer who are very friendly. The whole family will love it, But wrap up warm because it can be freezing.

The snow amounts up there are impressive, hope the wind dies down for them.

Nevis Range are saying its the most they have ever had!

Dusting here this morning is all we have had all winter!
