weak saw strop clip on 150t

I have been through several threads but cannot find the answer I am looking for. It is fairly well known that the saw strop clip on the 150 can fail as mine did not long after getting it. I now tie the strop to the bottom of the front handle (near starter cover) and then thread it through the clip at the back which works fine but is not ideal.

 

How have other people combatted this problem?

It hasn't been a problem with mine. Do you drop it a lot?

 

I tend to use the saw and short clip it so my harness.

Never drop mine so no issue to me either. I know sometimes you have to but regularly doing it can't be good for anything! Have a wire gate carabiner on my harness close to my Ds so it's easily clipped to one handed

No I rarely drop it, but on occasion it has happened. Because the clip has pulled out once it is now weaker than originally.

Do you use a bungee saw strop? I'm always dropping and chucking around my 200t and 150t, no problems here
