Is there anyone on here from the Manchester/ Oldham / West Yorkshire area who mills and sells hardwoods? Don't need anything specific atm but would like a friendly local source when the mood for a project takes me!

You could try Treestation, just off M60 Jctn: 24 West Gorton/Denton border. They will also take your arb waste.

Check out Hoghton Timber near Leyland, just up the M61. Great place, almost all native UK stuff. Take a torch, the store room is pretty poorly lit!
