Chipper blade sharpening

Just thought I'd post the setup I use for sharpening my chipper blades.

 

It's a standard surface grinder with an adjustable angle plate.

 

Sometimes I can't be bothered and stick them in for sharpening elsewhere but each set I sharpen saves me £24 so well worth spending the time to do them on rainy days and with things as they are now every penny counts :001_smile:

Looks like a good set up mate, can you round grind them on that?, been looking for an engineers that will do it so the timberwolf blades come as thet do when new, slightly concave they seem to take a better chip and last a bit longer between sharpenings.

 

Nice strategically placed protective glasses!
