What type of wood is this furniture made from?

Hi,

 

I've been given a decent wood furniture set, and I would like to repaint / re-oil the wood to give it a fresh coat and protect it etc.

 

Would anyone be able to tell me what type of wood this is? If you could also tell me what I should use to protect it, I would be grateful.

I've done quite a bit of garden furniture cleaning and have found no better way than pressure washing with fan jet , first leave it out in the rain or spray from a distance to soften any mould/moss/lichen, then light sanding when dry to smooth any raised grain.

The sheds also sell stuff made from iroko but dont know much about foreign timber
