if this is what you suspect would it have been likely that coprinus fb's were nearby or do they appear at separate times?

 

Ozonium can be present for long periods without fruiting occurring from my experience.

 

Here's one of both the fruit body and ozonium on the beech monolith on West Heath road

I personaly dont think this is ozonium, but I like throwing spanners! lol

 

It appears to be growing on some form of exudate, and a dark exudate at that, the kind of exudate I would associate with I.obliquos.

 

I dont have a suggestion yet, but divine inspiration will strike at some point, I hope because its a weird one for sure.

 

Never seen red tinged ozonium.
