Just swapped the stop switch on my 390xp for 1 off a t540xp so no more forgetting to turn the saw on :o

Normal things like bars, chains, sprockets not standard.

Put hinges on the quadchips covers so can't loose them.

 

Do you have a few photos of this mod? It sounds like a good one, but I cant picture how its done:confused1::blushing:

Just looks exactly the same but always springs back too the run position rather than clicking into the stop, switch looks like this 1 iv just picked up to replace the 540 one I broke last week.

What a clever idea! Does it need and modification to the housing, or is it a simple swap?

Here is a picture of the switch fitted and the original next to it,,, just to show it,,, for no other reason than that.

Just over £10 for the switch, worth it to save looking silly for forgetting to turn saw on especially up a tree on spikes :banghead:
