Just swapped the stop switch on my 390xp for 1 off a t540xp so no more forgetting to turn the saw on

Normal things like bars, chains, sprockets not standard.

Put hinges on the quadchips covers so can't loose them.

 

Do you have a few photos of this mod? It sounds like a good one, but I cant picture how its done:confused1:

Just looks exactly the same but always springs back too the run position rather than clicking into the stop, switch looks like this 1 iv just picked up to replace the 540 one I broke last week.

What a clever idea! Does it need and modification to the housing, or is it a simple swap?

Simply swap just got to swap 1 of the spade connections on the saw wire for a larger 1, 10 second job.

Here is a picture of the switch fitted and the original next to it,,, just to show it,,, for no other reason than that.

Just over £10 for the switch, worth it to save looking silly for forgetting to turn saw on especially up a tree on spikes

I have made strop ring on the 150 t as the origonal had reports of letting go also use the old one to stowe on harnes

Modified spikes for rope ascent. The Basic wasn't the best choice of ascender as it has a locking gate on the cam, but it's just what i had going spare. Bolt into the lower part of the ascender where it slots behind the gaff, and epoxy resin between the shank and the ascender for extra security.
