I've been using my car to go and do my gardening jobs, sometimes carrying equipment. just neverv got around to looking into what extra insurance I would need. will be adding a trailer soon too.

as for chainsaw insurance, would I be able to get any as I have no tickets. Could I get some general gardening insurance that might cover me?

have 5 years experience just cutting for my own log burner, but have the possibilty of working on someone else's land cutting up blown trees....some large.

owner wants me to have insurance.

Starting out and need a bit more guidance from experienced guys.

Thanks

John

Training wise what tickets would I need for the above type work?

Hi john I'm through trust, chainsaw wise no one will insure you unless you can prove you can maintain and use a saw ie tickets

This isn't true. I've never been asked for tickets in the 8 years i've been taking out insurance for.

Thats not to say they wouldn't be asked for in the event of a claim however, so go get your tickets sorted :001_smile:
