Defender dropside body help needed

Well I decided to crack on and build the body myself for the 130 but after putting the runner rails down the length of the chassis the usual landrover quality comes out :) and the offside tank bed support rail is miles out of line to the rest of the chassis.

Now I spoke to a friend who builds recovery bodies before I started and he said that he had seen one where it didn't have runners and the crossbearers were straight off the chassis mounts.

Does anyone here have a defender dropside (a tipper will have runner rails) they could have a look under for me and just confirm if it has runners or if the crossmembers are mounted straight to the chassis and there is no runner rail.

I will use a runner anyway for the extra strength but am just interested to know how others are done.
