A neighbour has just given me one of these currently it won't start but I have seen him using it awhile back what should I look for also the primer bulb has smashed any ideas where I can get a replacement ? Many thanks.
This is nothing to do with my other McCulloch thread so now I have two Mac s needing TLC :biggrin:

In my experience of these saws, a skip. Simmonds Saws do a lot of McCulloch bits or you could try Mister Solutions.I wouldn't waste a lot of time or money on it. :001_smile:

i had 2 had is the word everytime i wanted to use one it broke one way or another but saying that they were both given to me oiler on one was pooped and the other well i just lost it one day and threw it as far up the yard as i could it was a pain to start and then the recoil gave up so ebayed,em off sorry i had just had enough of them failing on me but like i said they were free and was when i had just got a logburner so was keen to get my log pile going so was happy to have them

I usually keep one in stock as they are needed quite often. Part number 5380224-24/5 and retail at £6.17 plus vat.

 

Most reputable dealers would be able to obtain one for you.
