Looking at kitting out a 3T mini digger for awkward sites, does anyone have experience of this method of stump removal. They look good on YouTube, any obvious drawbacks?

You will struggle to reach stumps on banks due to the length of the auger and planer blade dangling from the dipper?

I would have thought the blade would dull very quickly.

Just buy a ripper tooth and dig them out. You can also buy one with a sharpened edge to tear through bigger roots

But then you have the costs of transporting and disposing of the stump, plus filling the giant hole in.

I've always wondered about the digger mounted normal stump grinders.
