Went clay pigeon shooting at High Harthay in the end. It's a nice spot and the coach was really knowledgable. I got over my fear of shotguns after getting knocked to the deck from kickback when I was a teen! The weather was brilliant too

 

I'm a member there. Glad you enjoyed it, they're a really friendly bunch there.

If i'd seen your thread and was available, i would have offered to take you shooting and punting myself.

Thanks wolfie! My mate might be back down there at some point so I'll take you up on that offer. He's a keen bow hunter and rifle shooter.

 

Sure, give me as much notice as you can.

High Harthay is open every Friday but only every other weekend so if it is on a weekend check their fixtures on their website to see if it's open.
