Paleo diet for arborists

I've found this diet has really changed my breaks at work. Before break time would involve scoffing a sandwich down along with a mars bar and a can of redbull, followed by putting the seat back for 20 minutes trying to muster up the will to get back to work. Today I spent literally the whole of my first break and lunch break munching on a combination of food consisting of gammon, smoked mackerel, kale, spinach leaves, tomatoes, olives, pumpkin seeds, pecans, sunflower seeds and dried banana all washed down with lots of water. Felt pretty good all day long too. Did treat myself to a bit of dark chocolate too, but even my chocolate habits have changed. If I opened a bar of chocolate before I would carry on eating it till it was gone. Now I can take a couple squares and put it down quite easily.

 

That's also where I'm at and I defiantly prefer the new regime

Climbed a big spreading plane today and cruised it

Didn't have lunch as I wasn't Hungary

Strange this new setup as I usually eat monster helpings throughout the day

Feeling 100% better for the new healthier ingredients

I'm stopping as per norm but for some reason today I wasn't Hungary and it's probably the 1st time that has ever happened

Came down at 11s had a boiled egg dates and mixed nuts

Just had a paleo vindaloo it was so so

So guys, being realistic. Do you think it's the new food or the cutting out the rubbish and adding structure that's helping the most.

For me it's certainly cutting out the crap. Not sure what different potatoes and bread would make....after I've adjust to this diet I might add them in and see how they make me feel

I'm not a huge sandwich fan so its not much of a problem. Miss bread with my soup though, oh and crackers with my cheese
