does anyone know the model of ipad that takes a sim card??

iPad with 3G capabilities. Will pay £100 extra for one brand new compared to wifi only and then you pay for the SIM card on top. To look at the 3G have a plastic top section on the back which encloses the aerials.

Sim card? Do you mean the ipads that have a monthly charge for the mobile data networks. This allows you to search the tinternet anywhere with a signal dependant on your service provider

I have a mobile wifi dongle that will work on 4g and connects 10 devices at once. Use it anywhere and picks up 3G better than my phone will. £20/month. It's faster than my home broadband too!

 

Works out cheaper than using a 3G iPad.

What mobile phone do you have? If you have an iphone or android then its possible to share your internet connection with your ipad and save yourself the £100 extra you'll pay for a 3g ipad

cheers, I know norfing about comps or out like this, at the min I get on the net via laptop and a dongle, that's so slow!!

 

a friend has a ipad with a sim card and uses "mifi" its so much faster and a lot cheaper to use.

 

need one with a sim card as ive no land line or wifi about, that's boat life for you.

now this is where I have no idea what the crack is, should of paid more attention at school!!!
