What is the best way of putting the engine back in the housing.

Do you seal the crank pan on the cylinder first with the seals in place and try to fit as a complete unit or just build it in to the housing bit by bit?

looks like it will be a struggle to get the seals in afterwards as the oil pump is in the way- or should I remove this?

any advice?

piston attached to crank (with seals in place), slide the piston into cylinder, dirko the base pan and fit it onto cylinder then slide the lot into place and bolt down.
