Hi like it, there is now a remedy that Sthil have come up with to stop that happening as it was a common problem. Ask at your dealership you may be able to buy it and fix it yourself. Rob. And hey climb safe out there.

I have a good fix have done it to both our 150's useing what I asume is the mount for a rear handle ill take a pic once at yard for you. now for the blue peter bit you will need one exspendable climbing sling 15mm ithink . a ring off a dog choker or similar, some wiping stitch or similar, and a self tapping plastic screw stihl preferred of corect size.:thumbup:

Hear ya go easy fix just cut to size put through ring stich at tip and at ring end singe fibers at cut end I used a soldering iorn to pop a hole in it for screw,washer on top been on there must be two month now
