After Rod's poll regarding tree guys and shooters and the responses in other threads, how many of you decoy pigeons? whether it be for pest control or for the pot/gamedealer.

My father has started to manufacture decoys/floaters that are high quality, lifelike movement and cheaper than other similar quality products on the market. I thought I would try and drum up a bit of interest for the old man, to check the response from you guys.

Please check the link, there are a few different shots demonstrating bird movement in varying wind conditions, I think you'd agree they are an excellent representation of a live bird. I know I haven't seen a floater that looks as realistic as these.

anyway, over to you... if you or any of you shooter/decoying mates wants to know pricing or further information then PM me and I will get you said info or put you intouch with my old man.

Cheers and happy shooting.:sneaky2:

Got plenty of those. Got bout 20 floaters, 30 full body and 40 half shell "bobbers". We have a flapper and a wirly each. If its blowing a gooden we dont use the whirly or flapper as it makes the birds flare off but the floaters on a windy day work very very well. We sometimes use some real dead ones as well.
