thx for info john, for me conifers and shrubs can be a problem, but was thinking it would be nice all under one roof, now for the controversial bit : i thought the tree directory would be handy after a couple of posts asking for help identifying some common natives, was taken aback by lack of tree ident skills, its like a vet not knowing what type of dog he's looking at lol rant over argh deep breath

This assumes that the people asking are fully qualified (in order to call himself a vet your vet wold have to be).

The fact they are asking questions here only means they are either, not fully qualified or probably that its easier to ask here than reach for a book

Student vets must ask questions too you know?

twas just me observing the fact that there does or is a need for such a resource don't you think , just needed to stimulate a response and the vet analogy seemed fair........
