I have been asked to quote for the following

23 trees in total, macroacrpa & ash, ranging in height from 90 - 120 ft. To be reduced to 3ft stumps. Main tree trunks to be left on site removal of smaller branches.

Havnt had to do a quote for that amount of trees in one hit, any ideas on a rough price, im looking at about £1400

just work it out as individual trees or smaller clumps and add together the total. it all depends on the location of the trees and how much work is in each tree.

23 trees between 90 and 120ft? impossible to give a definative answer without seeing the job in person, but £1400 sounds way too low.

I'd be looking at somewhere between £4500 and £9000 probably more if they are that big and all the branches are to be removed £1400 is too cheap.

How long will it take you and how much do you want a day ?

Impossible to say without looking at it but that is how i would work it out + a f*ck up factor.

think about it even if you priced it @ £100 per tree that would be £2300 so that i would suggest is your minimum especially if you have to reduce minimum of 87ft per tree remove brash clean up etc

but as said without knowing the site or full details second hand pricing can be impossible ....

Is it possible to straight fell them, or do they have to be climbed & stripped. Chipping brash? or burn on site? Targets? Very difficult to assess from afar. I'd have thought minimum price would be about £3500 + vat, tho probably considerably higher depending on site difficulties.
