This is something that the company I work for is getting into. Its a good idea but I find some aspects of the idea very limiting. The way I can see it been used positivley is that,

if a tree you are removing has got 400 kg of carbon stored then yoy could plan to plant x amount of trees containing 500 kg of carbon. This would leave a positive carbon signature as well as a positive environmental signature.

It will be interesting to see how important this kind of information will be in the future.

Strange isn't it describing Euc as a hardwood when the 020 goes through it like butter. :001_smile:

 

Hardwoods bear seed-containing fruit and come from the botanical group called Angiosperms. Pines and so on are from the group Gymnosperms.:closedeyes:
