Hi Guys,

One for all the classic tractor experts. A mate has a 168 4x4 tractor and is thinking of selling to fund a chipper purchase, but he is unsure of its value and doesn't want to get robbed. Its got just over 7k hours on it and is in farm condition.

Any ideas on what he should ask for it? And where would be a good place to sell?

I would think it would be a good small forestry tractor, like a roadless major or the like.:confused1:

everything works?

no problems?

where is it located?

Its in lower normandy, I think its all ok. would probably need the brakes looking at and multi power clutch....... what ever that is?

I'm not really a tractor expert, so would have to ask my mate for full details.

A couple of mates were talking about these last night. Cheffins auctions have similar fairly regularly. Think most go for export. They make around £3500-5000 with cabs. I think there was about 10 at the last auction mostly 165 and 185's
