Hi everyone

 

I was wondering if anyone had a way of speeding up the drying process of a pieces of English walnut that is about 9 inch long and 1 inch square it need to be dry by January next year is there any way to do this

Stick it in the microwave oven on low and keep an eye on it.

 

I have dried out a few small bits this way.

 

A holly bowl did go a funny shape though.

If using microwave do it in short bursts over 24hrs. Type in microwave and look through old threads. I think I posted in one once upon a time, when it was discussed.
